Q. Do I have to be a Photoshop expert to join NAPP?

NAPP Member Website Absolutely not! This is NOT the National Assn. of Photoshop Experts, or Gurus. In fact, most of the people who join the NAPP aren't experts at all. They're simply people who want to learn more about Photoshop (regardless of their level of expertise) who need education and training, and want to stay on top of industry news and trends.

Q. Will I have to pass a test to join NAPP?

There is no test of any kind, or any restrictions on who can join the association. The only requirement is a desire to learn more about Photoshop.

Q. What is the cost for a one year membership in NAPP?

An individual one-year NAPP membership is just $99 (US funds). There are student and educator discounts, and corportate memberships for three or more members from the same company.

Q. How will NAPP save me money?

As a NAPP member, you'll save money through special members-only discounts on all software and software upgrades, digital cameras, printers, plug-ins, accessories and even full PC and Mac systems). Besides digital imaging gear, you'll get member discounts on everything from Kinko's copies to Avis rent-a-cars and dozens of other popular products and services. It doesn't take long to save enough to pay for your membership, and we have member after member tell us they saved enough in just one discounted purchase to pay for their annual membership dues.

Q. Who should join NAPP?

We have a wide range of members from 107 countries around the world, but the majority of our members are either photographers, graphic designers, print shops, Web designers, publications, ad agencies, DV designers, in-house art departments, educators, trainers, or consultants.

We also have a number of members who are pro-sumers (professional quality Photoshop users who don't make their living using Photoshop), and also a number of hobbyists who are just hooked on Photoshop and want to learn more.

NAPP membership is open to any individual or corporation using Photoshop, regardless of their field or level of expertise.
